Bali Nusa Penida Long Weekend

Group size: max 10
Level: you need to handle stairs, sun and bumpy roads, swimming skills for mantas
Included: speedboat Sanur ↔ Nusa Penida (35 min each way), pickup Bali airport if you land early, three nights in cliff villa with insane infinity pool, scooter each + petrol, daily breakfast floating in that pool, two seafood BBQs, private boat for manta snorkel, all entrance fees, cold Bintang stash, driver who knows every secret spot
Not included: flights, extra cocktails, Bali tax (like 10 bucks), your jaw when you see Kelingking

Day 1 – Thursday
Land Denpasar anytime, we grab you, quick drive to Sanur, 3 pm speedboat, waves smack the boat a bit, fun starts early. 35 min later you’re on Penida, scooters waiting, 20 min ride along jungle roads to the villa, drop bags, jump straight in the infinity pool with welcome Bintang, sunset turns the ocean gold, first BBQ on the cliff (grilled fish, corn, sambal that burns so good), everyone already best friends.
Day 2 – West side madness
6:30 breakfast floating, then scooters to Kelingking, park at the top, everyone swears when the T-Rex appears, hike down the sketchy stairs to the actual beach (worth every sweaty step), swim alone in turquoise, photos look fake. Up again (legs die), quick lunch at a warung, then Angel’s Billabong + Broken Beach, jump in the natural infinity pool when tide is right, chill under the arch. Sunset at Crystal Bay, cold coconut, back to villa, pool night lights on, second BBQ, someone always cannonballs at 2 am.
Day 3 – Manta day
Lazy breakfast, 9 am private boat from the beach below the villa, 15 min ride to Manta Point, jump in, suddenly 4-5 m wingspan giants glide right under you, zero sting, just pure magic, 45 min in the water feels like 5. Second stop Manta Bay (more mantas + turtles sometimes), third stop Gamat Bay for coral and clownfish. Back by 1 pm, scooter blast to Tebing Atuh, hidden white beach inside cliffs, swim again. Last sunset from the villa pool with arak cocktails, order in pizza because we’re lazy, fall asleep to waves crashing 80 m below.
Day 4 – Sunday
Sleep in, one last pool session and breakfast, quick stop at Diamond Beach if time (those stairs are brutal but wow), speedboat 1 pm back to Bali, drop you airport around 3-4 pm for evening flights. You leave salty, sunburnt, full of fish and completely ruined for normal holidays.
Villa vibes
Four bedrooms on the cliff edge, each with glass wall to the ocean, one huge infinity pool that spills into the view, outdoor showers, daybeds everywhere, speaker system, feels stupidly luxurious but we still go barefoot and drip salt water all day.
Weather & water
28-33 °C air, 27-29 °C water, rainy season still works but May-Nov is perfect, calm seas, no crowds.
That’s it. Four days, zero temple spam, just the wild side of Bali nobody sees, mantas in your face, cliffs that break cameras, pool that breaks phones. Come get wrecked in the best way :)
