We use cookies because the internet would be a mess without them. This page explains exactly what’s happening when those tiny files land on your phone or laptop. No legal mumbo-jumbo, just the real talk.
What cookies actually are
Tiny text files that remember small things so you don’t have to type the same stuff ten times. They’re harmless, can’t run code, can’t steal your photos, and disappear when you clear your browser (or sooner if you want).
The ones we absolutely need
When you pick dates, fill the booking form, or move between pages, a few cookies keep everything from resetting every two seconds. Without them the site would forget who you are mid-sentence and throw you back to the homepage. These are called “essential” and we can’t turn them off even if we wanted to.
The ones that make the site not stupid
We drop a couple more to remember your language, currency, whether you’ve already closed the popup, and how far you scrolled on mobile. Makes the second visit feel smooth instead of annoying.
The ones that help us not be blind
Basic analytics cookies tell us which pages people actually love and where everyone bounces. We see if the booking button is hidden behind a thumb on iPhones or if the photos load slow in some countries. No names, no emails, just numbers and trends. We use a privacy-first tool that deletes everything after a few months anyway.
Ads? Nope
We don’t run ads on the site and we don’t let third-party networks follow you around the internet. Zero retargeting, zero “you looked at a trip, now see it on every website for a month”. That creepy stuff stays far away from here.
Video and maps
If we embed a short clip or a small map on a trip page, those platforms drop their own cookies the moment you press play or scroll the map. We have no control over that, but you can block them individually in your browser if you want.
How to take full control
Every browser has a “block all cookies” switch – flip it and the site still works, just gets a bit clunky (you’ll have to pick dates again on every page). You can also hit the little cookie icon in the bottom corner anytime and turn off everything except the essential ones in two clicks.
Your data never leaves for cookies
None of the cookie information is tied to your name, passport, or booking unless you actually finish a purchase. Even then it’s only used to make the checkout faster next time.
Changes and questions
If we ever add something new that’s worth mentioning, we’ll update this page and put a small notice on the site. Last update: November 2025.
