What actually happens

Friday
We grab you in Marrakech around 11 am, blast through the High Atlas, stop once for fresh orange juice and mountain views. By 4 pm you’re already at the dunes, quick intro session sliding down baby dunes while the sun turns everything orange. Then we jump on camels (they grunt a lot, it’s normal), ride to camp like absolute legends. Sunset camel race across the flats, losers buy the winners tea. Night falls fast, dinner is ridiculous tagine + bread baked in sand, then everyone lies on carpets staring at more stars than you thought existed, fire crackling, drums start, somehow you’re dancing by midnight.

Saturday
4:45 alarm because sunrise dune boarding is worth it. Climb the monster dune half-asleep, first light hits, you push off and fly 200 vertical meters straight down screaming. Best coffee of your life at the bottom. Breakfast back at camp, chill, maybe nap in the shade. Afternoon is free slides, we set up a little jump at the end, photos look insane. Late afternoon second camel dash, this time longer loop through smaller dunes. Sunset from the top ridge, wind dies, silence is unreal. Last night bonfire gets louder, guides teach you rude words in Berber, you won’t sleep much.

Sunday
Lazy morning, one last quick boarding run while the crew packs. Big brunch, group photos on the mega-dune, then roll back to Marrakech, drop you at the airport or your riad around 4-5 pm. You’ll be covered in fine sand for three more days no matter how many times you shower, consider it a souvenir.

Camp vibes
White canvas tents with proper mattresses, Berber rugs everywhere, dining tent that looks like a movie set, solar lights, hot water from donkey boiler (works surprisingly well). Feels luxurious but still wild, no WiFi, barely any phone signal, perfect.

Weather
Days 20-28 °C, nights can drop to 5 °C, bring a hoodie and something warm for sleeping. Sandstorms rare but if it happens we just drink more tea inside the big tent and tell stories.
That’s it, two and a half days that feel like a month somewhere else. You leave with burnt lips, destroyed calves and the biggest grin. See you in the dunes!
